Does anyone here know if there exists something similar to the Grace Hopper celebration, but for EE's?

I keep adding to this comment; I will stop now. ;-D
You should look into what IEEE does at a local level in your region, if you aren't already involved in what they do.

Hate to say it, but my lone ASME regional conference experience (also many moons ago) trumps my SWE ones from a technical standpoint. Of course, it is hard to top getting to tour the Shuttle Assembly complex at Cape Canaveral (which was AWESOME, btw). ;-D Of course, there may have been all of two women there (me and an ASME nat'l staffer), but then I'm sorta used to it, being of a ME persuasion. :-/ (Only gal in the class/lab/office = usually moi)

From looking at the SWE Nat'l conference link, it looks like they DO have a technical-ish track ("Innovation in Technology and Business: Gain insight on new and emerging technologies that you can take back to strengthen your workplace"), which is probably a grab-bag of stuff, like you said.

Not much specific deets here (unless I'm looking in the wrong place), but then it's not until Oct.
